Roasted Garlic Balsamic Vinaigrette
I’m obsessed with vinaigrettes. When I have a salad, I like the dressing to be light and tangy to accent the fresh ingredients. One of the most staple vinaigrettes would have to be a simple no-fuss balsamic vinaigrette. Just a couple of ingredients are needed to grace a simple green salad that will go with any Italian dish.
- 1/4 C balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 C olive oil
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 Tb sugar (I used agave)
- 1 clove of roasted garlic, minced (or 1/2 tsp of pre-minced garlic)
Simply whisk together the ingredients in a small bowl or glass measuring cup. Pour over mixed greens and toss together thoroughly, so that the salad is evenly covered. Serve and enjoy with your favorite pasta dish! Buon Appetito!
