Ramen in a Pinch

Ramen in a Pinch

Penny-pinching is deeply engrained into my psyche. I didn’t grow up with much and later on as an adult, I was a single parent of three working two jobs for four years. Money and time were always in short supply, so I often had to get creative in the kitchen.

As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, we try to do bigger shopping trips to reduce the frequency of trips to the store but also to make our budget leaner. Towards the end of a two-week stint, I’m rummaging through the pantry and fridge to use up whatever ingredients we still have. Enter the cheap sustainer of broke college students everywhere…

Yeah, I know. I promise one day, we’ll do a video of how to make our own ramen noodles from scratch. Bear with me, because this ended up being surprisingly good…
